The IDC Bears (I Don’t Care Bears) are ambivalent, swaggy beasts. Nothing rattles them—not out of apathy, but out of a deep c’est la vie acceptance of how wild and unpredictable life can be. Trouble rolls off their backs. Haters gonna hate. IDC Bear don’t care.
The IDC Bears were created by Colorado-based artist Collie Pixels during his recovery from a lifelong battle with Crohn’s Disease. After facing years of illness, surgeries, and a particularly brutal stretch in 2020–2021 that nearly took him out, Collie emerged with a new perspective: care less about the noise, protect your energy, and keep moving forward.
That mindset became the foundation of the IDC Bears. They are a visual expression of resilience, stoicism, and calm confidence—bears who don’t flinch, don’t explain themselves, and don’t waste energy on what doesn’t matter. Their ambivalence isn’t indifference; it’s earned wisdom.
Born from survival and shaped by creativity, the IDC Bears represent strength without aggression, confidence without bravado, and peace without apology. They stand as a reminder that even in life’s most uncomfortable moments, you can still show up with style, humor, and a shrug.
IDC Bear don’t care—and that’s the whole point.
